I was driving back from Baltimore and stopped at a bar along the way back. One tv had the Yankee game (which we were of course watching), the other had Nascar, most people in the bar were watching Nascar, I stuck up a converation with someone watching it. He said people camp out days in advance for it. It is a big event. They plan vacations around it. People are totally insane over it. You should have a great time! We always get pit passes for the race because it's half the fun. Being able to watch the inspections and the crews set up is really cool!
