I’m very happy to have the YES Network over right now filming a segment for their show Yankees on deck. This episode will air sometime in May so check it out!

I will definitely watch it!!! I read that the Boss watched Joba pitch BP yesterday and had really nice things to say about him…he said he’s very excited about the Baby Bombers.

I don’t care if the show is made for kids, it’s the best thing YES has put together… then again I do watch Spongebob… maybe I just have a young mind

That’s awesome. Like someone else said even though the show is probably meant for kids I’m 18 and it’s still pretty fun to watch. I mean come on, seeing Jason Giambi show fancy cars and Joe Girardi as a teacher are great.

I guess they thought the title “*Kids* on Deck” was scaring away older viewers. Anyway, it’s a cool show because it gives the players the rare opportunity to expose their real personalities. Moose’s appearance was probably the most surprising — he is always portrayed as this serious intellectual, and he came off as someone with a really good sense of humor. It’s good YES gives the players an opportunity to show this side of themselves because it makes them more human to the fans — since the fans often forget this fact and hold them to an impossible standard.

For everyone who asked, YES Network has its own youtube channel where they put up a lot of videos / interviews. Hopefully they’ll show this segment with Phil.

I’m ancient and I still love to watch Yankees on Deck….I agree with baileywalk …the segment on Moose was terrific. It showed Mike in a fun way …that many fans don’t get to see.

I dont live in NY so I don’t have yes but I do get most of the 162 games with MLB extra innings.

Yankees on Deck is a fun show. Can’t wait to see you on it. Showing off your pad are ya? I always make sure to catch all those shows. YES is killing me right now with the lack of coverage of the Yankees in camp, but nice to know we got this to look forward to.

Just a warning: Mike and the Mad Dog are all Red Sox fans, so don’t get too upset when they blast you guys. They did it to Joba recently.
