Easter Contest Winner

Just got home and I was about to post saying that I would allow another guess for everyone. But while scrolling through the entries I found someone had gotten it. My favorite Easter treat is when my Mom would make egg salad out of the Easter eggs. So good. So congrats to tarainmadrid for getting it. Good work. Easter Contest

Just wanted to say happy Easter to everyone. Also had a little contest to throw up there on this special day. I’ll be giving away my game used spring training hat from this year. Evans Blue

I can’t get enough of their newest album, The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life Ends. Really, really good stuff. I suggest checking it out if you’re into alt rock/hard rock stuff. I was trying to put together a new list of songs I’ve been listening to lately when I realized it’s just been this CD over and over.

WCC in the mix

I don’t follow the NCAA tournament too closely, but I did notice today that 3 West Coast Conference teams were in it.(St. Marys, Gonzaga, and San Diego) I signed a letter of intent to go to Santa Clara University which is in the WCC. So it’s nice to see them do well.

Pretty cool thing the team is doing by playing an exhibition at Virginia Tech today. I didn’t make the trip because I pitch tomorrow but it would have been a neat thing to participate. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of the victims. Be back later.

WFAN with Kim Jones

Just finished up an interview with Kim Jones on her late night radio show. She’ll have Ian on later tonight. I think the show runs from 9pm-12am eastern time. If you miss it I’m pretty sure you can check it out online. Kim threw a couple shout-outs to the blog which was cool. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Good movies?

Planning a quiet evening at home trying to put today’s outing behind me. Think I might rent a movie. Seen anything good lately? What do you suggest?

While we’re on the topic of suggestions, what should I do for the upcoming contests? I know just a straight up drawing would be the most fair, but that is just boring. Let me know what you think.

Just finished a signing with Steiner Sports and Topps. 2,000 signatures in a row can be grueling. Good thing I have a quick sloppy autograph (kidding….well, not really) I’ll be back later with a new song playlist, maybe a random picture of the day, and some photos of upcoming prizes for contests.
