I don’t follow the NCAA tournament too closely, but I did notice today that 3 West Coast Conference teams were in it.(St. Marys, Gonzaga, and San Diego) I signed a letter of intent to go to Santa Clara University which is in the WCC. So it’s nice to see them do well.

Did you play hoops in high school? Many pro athletes were multi sport stars…could you have pursued any other sports in college beside baseball?
The San Diego game was sick!

I still can’t believe that San Diego beat UConn! Wow what happened too all the powerhouse Basketball schools in the tri-state area.
“I still can’t believe that San Diego beat UConn!” yeah that one surprised me, although UConn hasn’t been playing that great going into this. I’m still sad Bel didn’t upset Duke.

I’m so depressed that Uconn lost 😦 Hopefully the women will own in their games.
I’m sure every Yankees fan is very happy you did not end up pitching in the WCC.. Have to be happy with San Diego’s big upset of UCONN, even though it hurt my brackets a bit. I did have Davidson and Western Kentucky upsets though, which helps. What a great couple of games those were.

Games this afternoon were awesome, love to see the underdog buzzer beaters. Nothing like it. Those kids that drained the threes at the end of those games, ice water in their viens. I imagine similar to times on the mound, you are confident in what you are doing and the hitters are merely guessing. Best part of sports is winning and being in that zone for sure.
TEXAS WON! WOOHOO! A few more games then back to Houston and San Antonio (one with the largest number of alumni outside of Austin and the other a mere hour’s drive!) for the remainder of the tournament. And to think they said UNC had it easy!

Haha, I at least had USC out of the first round, losing to Wisconsin in the 32. San Diego destroyed my bracket. Still leading the pool I’m in though 23 of 28 right now.

I picked the wrong Cinderella teams. I had Baylor and Georgia.
At least my Final Four are still intact, but nothing beats 06 when i had George Mason going to the Elite 8.

As a huge UConn fan which is only trumped by my yankee pride, I was hoping to not see you happy cuz of that game lol. Im still unable to watch cbs or espn, it feels almost as bad as the cleveland series loss.

UCONN did not play well for 28 minutes and it cost them. San Diego played an amazing game today! Too bad their PG hurt himself (as did UCONN’s), it may cost them in the next round.

Basketball is something I love to play but hate to watch. And the only time I bring myself to watch it is during the Olympics. But it is the most boring game there is and it takes about an hour to get through a minute. Rip Van Winkle started out watching a basketball game and look what happened to him by the end of the game!
Uconn killed me this past week and a half. Very disappointed.

Penn State sadly lost in the first round of the Big 10 tourny, so I guess I’m back to pulling for Duke to win (been a fan since elementary school). At least PSU has football!
I actually took your advice and went all the way for USC, mostly because I know absolutley nothing when it comes to basketball, so I fill out tourney brackets for fun. I can’t believe villa beat clemson though! Talk about a shocker
